In software, Letico has devised the Plant Web Engine (PWE). This is a web-based application designed to provide production information from manufacturing lines and covers a variety of industries. It is the backbone required and used by other specific modules that are added as required to PWE. In particular, it provides the infrastructure for LPAc, a complete line management system supporting OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

In addition to providing a standard web interface, PWE takes care of the administrative needs of each module. Utilizing PWE's management web pages, an administrator can monitor and manage Production Lines, Production Areas as well as Production Equipment such as individual Machines. Clients and administrators accessing information through PWE do not require any special software except a web browser. Through this they have a real-time picture of exactly how the factory is operating including operating rates and efficiencies.
